Hottest Couples at the Met Gala
Monday May 5th marked the annual Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC. Check out these gorgeous couples who graced the red carpet! Plus, see video coverage here!
Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds
The private couple, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, was gorgeous and affectionate on the red carpet at the Met Gala. Lively, 26, was elegant and reminiscent of old Hollywork in a custom designed Gucci silk chiffon blush gown that was embroidered with rose gold paillettes. Her look was completed by the handsome man on her arm. While Reynolds is known for his excellent shirtless physique, he looked quite dapper in his midnight blue velvet tuxedo.
Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield
The cutest couple award goes to The Incredible Spiderman co-stars Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield! The two looked bright and fresh as they walked arm-in-arm down the red carpet. Stone, 25, is gorgeous in a Thakoon cropped top and skirt with a seriously high slit. Her natural and fresh-faced makeup looked gorgeous with her casual side braid. Garfield looks handsome beside her in his gray tuxedo jacket and bow-tie.
Jay Z and Beyonce
Jay Z, 44, and Beyonce, 32, looked confident and dramatic as they held hands on the red carpet. They opted for a flawless, monochromatic look. Beyonce’s daring Givenchy Haute Couture by Riccardo Tisci gown had a plunging neckline and exquisite beadwork. Jay Z also wore a Givenchy Haute Couture Tux, opting for a white jacket with satin details and a black silk bow tie. Gorgeous power couple!
Joshua Jackson and Diane Kruger
Happy couple, Diane Kruger, 37, and Joshua Jackson, 35, glowed at the Met Gala! While the two always look great on the red carpet, this year they looked happier and more in love than ever! The couple started dating back in 2006 and they walked down the red carpet with their arms lovingly around one another. Kruger was breathtaking in a metallic ice-blue Hugo Boss gown with spaghetti straps. The backless column gown had a simple pleated overlay and a matching satin belt. Kruger’s handsome beau was also wearing Hugo Boss in the form of an ivory tuxedo jacket with a black lapel and black pants.
Kanye West and Kim Kardashian
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West attended the Met Gala together, and happily posed for the cameras upon their arrival. Kim oozed old Hollywood glamour in a satin Lanvin gown. The dark blue satin gown had a sweetheart neckline and thigh-high split that perfectly complemented Kim’s assets. Kim kept her makeup and accessories to a minimum, the play up the beauty of the gown. Kanye looked dapper in his black tuxedo with formal tails.
